Bringing Up Grades
Celebrating Effort. Encouraging Growth.
At the Kiwanis Club of Vidalia, we believe students deserve to be recognized not only for high achievement, but also for the effort, determination, and growth they show along the way. Through the Bringing Up Grades (BUGs) program, our club celebrates elementary students who are making meaningful academic progress and working hard to improve their grades.
Twice each year, the Kiwanis Club of Vidalia recognizes students selected by the principal and staff of Sally D. Meadows Elementary School and Lyons Upper Elementary School for their effort and academic growth.
The program is designed to encourage students to keep working toward their goals and to remind them that their hard work matters.
Academic success does not always happen overnight. Sometimes the most important progress is found in a student who keeps trying, improves a grade, builds better study habits, or gains confidence in the classroom.
By recognizing those accomplishments, BUGs helps students see that persistence and improvement are worth celebrating.
Through Bringing Up Grades, we are proud to celebrate students who are putting in the work and encourage them to keep growing, learning, and believing in themselves.
