Boy Scout Troop 933
The Kiwanis Club of Vidalia’s relationship with Boy Scout Troop 933 dates back to the very beginning of our club.
In 1919, the Kiwanis Club of Vidalia assisted in the development of Troop 933 and has continuously sponsored the troop since its founding. Troop 933 is recognized as one of the oldest Boy Scout troops in the state of Georgia.
This longstanding partnership reflects our commitment to investing in young people and supporting opportunities that encourage leadership, responsibility, service, and personal growth.
In 1995, a Boy Scout Hut was built for the Kiwanis Club and Troop 933, providing a lasting home for a partnership that has served generations of local youth.
United Way of Toombs, Montgomery & Wheeler Counties
The Kiwanis Club of Vidalia is also proud to support United Way of Toombs, Montgomery & Wheeler Counties and its work throughout our local communities.
Through its network of local agencies and community partners, United Way helps connect resources with needs and supports programs that make a difference for children, families, and individuals throughout Toombs, Montgomery, and Wheeler counties.
Our support of United Way is another way Kiwanis can help extend its reach beyond our individual club projects and contribute to a stronger, more caring community.
